OCTOBER NEWSLETTER

PRESIDENTS'MESSAGE

Date: Wednesday, October 9th, 2002.

Time: 5:30- 6:30 p.m. Cocktails, Networking, Dinner and education.

Place: Ellas Restaurant, 702 Pape Ave.

Speaker & Topic: Tracey Harron, National Sales Manager, Information Technology Division, Ainsworth Inc., will present what technology can do to assist with the daily activities of managing a building.

Thank you very much Darcy of Trane for our last educational session. Darcy covered some very exciting topics including CFC's, new changes to the regulations, required registration of greenhouse emissions and technological advances. We also had a very good discussion on the running of the general meetings. It seams some members prefer the reading of the minutes and following the traditional business meeting format. This will be Dooley noted and discussed at the next executive meeting as to what direction we will take.

Our 39th annual golf tournament went very well. The sponsors and our committee should be very proud. The prize table, raffle, food and weather were perfect. Thank you Hussein Rashid from Right and Square General Contractors who chaired the committee along with Clyde Stanley of Oxford properties and all the other committee people who worked so hard over the past few weeks and assisted at Sleepy Hollow.

Reminder, Please encourage all members and associate members (advertisers welcome by member invitation only) to come to as many monthly meetings as possible and please feel free to invite guests, particularly people who would be considered for membership, we are trying to increase our circulation and expand our association to it's full professional potential.

Yours Truly,

David P. Lazaros
President
