Our monthly meeting was a big success thanks to Arik Garber of Rentokil Initial Security our associate member for an excellent choice of topics. Arik took us through new procedures in the industry that have evolved since the world trade center attack, valuable assessment tips and more. Our sister association the New York Building Managers hosted there annual grand ball on April 13th. Reg Harrilal, wives and myself attended this extravaganza, which was also attended by board member of Chicago and Philadelphia. We would like to thank all of you for a wonderful time and an interesting round table discussion. Due to restructuring the Detroit board where not in attendance, I would like to wish them wellness and prosperity as they re-group and form their new committee's. We look forward to seeing you all in Toronto, June 15th for our Black & White Dinner Gala and what I hope can be an ongoing exchange of valuable information. Marketing our association is key to our success and future as with any association. Our members who attend regularly can attest to the value of networking and the education. I therefore would like to enlist everyone's support for our upcoming season, (Membership drive). Bring in a guest, send out e-mails, and contact a board member to follow-up with new potential members who will benefit from being a member. I also encourage you to let us know when we are not being recognized as the professional group we truly are. Those who don't know about us will be surprised. I am hopeful this year will be our best ever, by taking this association and its members to the next level. Please remember that your involvement is so important to the continued success of this organization so come out and support us.
