PRESIDENTS MESSAGE:

On behalf of President Dave Lazaros, it gives me great pleasure to present the message for this month's newsletter. Dave, for those of you who are not aware, is finally back at work. He is at the Law Society of Canada working out of Osgoode Hall (416-947-3458) Dave asked me to fill in for him on this month's newsletter as he was busy preparing himself for the challenges in his new position. We wish Dave all the best in his new endeavors.

The February meeting was held at the Alfa Laval facility in Scarborough, our thanks to Lars Henriksson, Mohan Thavaratnam and the rest of the team at Alfa Laval for hosting a fine evening for the association, our member turnout was excellent and the tour and dinner was first class. We welcome feed back from the membership on how you felt about the meeting and whether more outings like this would be a good idea.

At the March meeting, we will be conducting the election of officers for the board of directors of the association. This is a very important process and we urge all members to come out and support the association by voting in a new board. Proxy ballots are available in this newsletter, please take the time to fill them out and get them in prior to March 13th. 2002 if you are not able to attend. Fax line 905-509-8272.

Please remember that your involvement is so important to the continued success of this organization so come out and support us.

Yours Truly,

Tris Scott
Vice President
