JANUARY NEWSLETTER
Meeting was held on Wednesday, January 09, 2002 at Ellas Restaurant, 702 Pape Ave. PRESIDENTS MESSAGE: January's meeting was excellent, a good turnout with 37 people in attendance and our speaker Suzanne Park did a great job on her teachings about dispute resolution. Which I am hopeful all of us enjoyed so we can now look at conflicts and resolutions a little more with the information that was given. I also had the pleasure of presenting New Member certificates to Michel Lefebvre, Operations Manager, O&Y Enterprise Commercial Management, North American Centre and Collin Jones, Operations coordinator, Adason Properties Ltd., Canada Life. Also, a new associate member Centrifugal and Associates who was represented by Jason Pond was presented their certificate which represents a company dedicated to participate and assist the association in meeting its goals. With all the effects on our daily lives from current events, September 11th, Economic downturns, War, unstable investment markets, massive layoffs; I would like to offer you some good news, our industry is growing. In my recent travel throughout the GTA I have seen no sign's of construction being at a standstill, companies are pursuing renovations to make their facilities more inviting and things are continuing to take place in our industry. We as a professional Association will try to bring you all the latest updates on training for which you can personally benefit and be more technically prepared. Yours Truly, Yours Truly, YEARBOOK At Our January Meeting, Mr. Ken Vanderputt our yearbook chairman kicked of our 2002 reference and buyers guide ad renewals by asking those in attendance to check our files for their contractors and suppliers to ensure they have a chance to renew before our deadline, new ads are welcome too.
