As Managing Director, Sustainability with Jones Lang Lasalle, Jiri Skopek provides advice to owners and managers of large portfolios on sustainable development in the fields of design, asset and facility management, emergency preparedness, business continuity and building intelligence. Topic:The subject of the talk will be Green Globes, an environmental assessment, adopted by BOMA Canada as BOMA Best program. The objective of the program is to improve the energy and environmental performance of buildings, to deliver a healthy and productive work environment for tenants and to save money in the process. The company offers Green Globes system, a building environmental design and management tool that delivers an online assessment protocol, rating system, and guidance for green building design, and operation and management. Its products are used by developers, property management companies, and the Canadian federal government. The company was founded in 1996 and is based in Toronto, Canada. As of July 9, 2008, ECD Energy and Environment Canada, Ltd. operates as a subsidiary of Jones Lang Lasalle, Inc.
