PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE:

I hope you all had a wonderful summer. As always it was way too short. The 44th. Annual TBMOA golf tournament was a great success. Hard work during the summer by the Golf committee, gave way to 168 golfers teeing off @ the Richmond Hill Golf Club on Wednesday Sept. 5th. The weather was ideal. Many Sponsors contributed to the Golf tournament and with their support every player received a gift and special draws were conducted with winners receiving either a Webber Bar B Q, wine cooler, Bike and more. Here a few pictures.

Putting Contest winner - Dean Hamill - Pauf Wolf Lighting - Donated by Bryan Bonham of General Property Services Inc. (GPSI)

The Sept. 19th meeting will feature Mr. Steve Watson of Global GPR Services Inc.

Steve will outline his companies Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) technology that uses high frequency radio waves to penetrate the surface below ground and even inside concrete walls, floors and ceilings. Since the power output is very low and not harmful you do not have to evacuate people in the area or have the work done in off-hours. This makes it a cost effective solution compared to other technologies such as X-Ray.

This will allow options when it is necessary to detect conduit etc. in the concrete slab when core drilling is required.

See you on September 19th. for an informative presentation from Global GPR Services Inc.

Thank You, Yours Truly,

Colin Jones
President
