PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE:

The winter season is upon us. By now your buildings are in winter mode. The Halloween candy has been given out and now we are on daylight saving time. All set for the Christmas rush.

On Wednesday October 11th a group of members and associate members braved the rain and visited the Steam Whistle brewery in the Old round house @ the base of the CN tower. The tour was very interesting outlining the history of the brewery, the high standards in their brewing process, and friendly "work place" atmosphere. Each member received a keepsake glass or bottle opener. (The steam whistle bottles that come for Panama are not twist-off tops). Steam Whistle Brewery hosts tours throughout the year and any person can visit and sample the beer and take a tour for a nominal fee of $8:00. I would recommend the tour is you missed out.

The yearly Advertisers night is out lined in the Social & Buyers Guide in this newsletter. Pictures will be available on the Web Site soon. The executive thanks all that attended advertiser's night, members, advertisers and guests. I personally want to thank Ken Vanderputt and his committee for organizing the night. Well Done.

November 8th is our next General Meeting and Home Depot will present a talk on Power tools related to building maintenance.

The next meeting will be our last one for the year. Hope to see you there.

Thank You, Yours Truly,

Colin Jones
President
