Topic: The North American power grid system. Mr. Roy Elwood from the Electrical
Safety Authority of Ontario will talk to us about how the electrical grid system supplies power to our homes and businesses throughout North America and Ontario. He will also update us on some of the latest issues on electrical safety in the Province of Ontario.

Dear Members and Associates,
It is with a great deal of pleasure that I forward this message to the members and advertisers alike, on the inaugural of my presidency of this great association. I am truly grateful for the support that the membership at large, displayed in electing me as president and I, and my entire board is committed to serving the continued interest of this association.
As we embark upon the first general meeting of this 41ST.year of our existence, I would like to extend to all of you, a challenge to making a small contribution to helping us move this association in a positive direction. I would like to suggest that we set some goals for the coming year. We will call this our mission statement:

- The new board of directors is committed to (with the help of the
membership) maintaining a strong financial base to support health
and strength of the association.
- Putting into place all the necessary committees to run the various
functions and events that association conducts throughout the course
of the year
- Provide informative and interesting topics for discussion at our monthly
meetings.
- Finding ways to increase our membership.

YEAR BOOK -
We continue to experience some delay in getting the 2003 buyers
guide out. Ken Vanderputt has again worked very hard with little help to produce the book. We do need help. Lets start by volunteering today. We plan to have the book ready for the September meeting
SOCIAL
On August 21st. we held our annual golf tournament at Sleepy Hollow golf
course. I would to take this opportunity to thank the members of the golf committee for doing such a great job. Hats off to Alex Viola, Bill Herridge, Dave Lazaros, Colin Jones Danny Mandawe, John Norris, Janice Wynne and a special thanks to George Rimmer for supporting us. Great work folks.
