PRESIDENTS'MESSAGE

I would like to thank Mr. Roy Elwood for coming out to speak to us on the North American Power Grid System. Many of us who rely on sustainable sources of energy to run our operations are still sifting through the impact of this recent outage and looking ways to protect ourselves from future outages. Roy was quite informative in his description of how the grid system works. Members who did not attend this meeting, missed a great presentation.

As we move forward into this year, we encourage you once again to come out to our meetings and get involve in association activities.

I wish to report to you that our current meeting venue (Ellas restaurant) is now under new management and the name has been change to Avra.

My thanks to Dave Lazaros who filled in for me during my absence while I was away attending my mother's funeral. I would also like to thank, on behalf of my family and myself, all the members of the association including our associates for such an out pouring of support with your donations of floral arrangements, it was certainly a source of strength for us and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Yours Truly,

Tris Scott
President
