PRESIDENTS'MESSAGE Dear Members and Associates, I would like to thank Bob Myers and John Antonakos from Oakville Hydro Energy Services who provided some insightful information on sub-metering systems and how it can better serve our tenants and us. In addition, Mr. Peter O'Brien our surprise visitor was presented with his Life Member certificate. Peter, it was great to see you. As many of you know, the annual diner dance (Mardigras) is almost upon us so please book your tickets now. Call Tris Scott or Janice Wynn for more information, and do not forget to reserve your room at the Crown Plaza Don Valley. We have a special rate for those attending the dance. See you on Saturday May 31st, 2003. Your Vice President and I had the pleasure of attending our sister associations 84th New York Building Managers Annual Grand Ball, some 800 people in attendance, it was very exciting. We also had an exchange of information at the intercity meeting, which will hopefully promote membership and the benefits attached to it. Bring prospective members to the monthly meetings at no cost. Make sure you introduce them and let fill out an application form for membership. We are always looking for people in our field to share and exchange information with. Program ------------ MAY GENERAL MEETING NOTICE OF VOTE FOR BYLAW CHANGES As you may be aware, we will have a vote on making amendments to two areas of our By-laws. These changes were passed at the February executive and now require membership approval before we can adopt them. These changes are timely, as we require new printed copies of our by-laws. The changes put forward are as follows;
Wednesday June 11th, 2003 will be our next and last scheduled meeting for this fiscal year. We tentatively have Mr Hoogard, President of Direct Energy (Formerly Enbridge Home Services) booked to speak.
